Re: cd burner
I'm not sure that, may be Disk Doctor has same functionality. Just go to the Google and check it out.

Damn you littlewiki! I was just about to say that!
But yes, CDBurnerXP can burn with CD-R, CD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-RW, DVD-R, adn DVD+R. It is very versatile and I highly recommend it.

Nothing really special, it's just easy to use and just as capable as Nero. Especially since a lot of people I know don't use half of the features that come with Nero, a free alternative would be CDBurnerXP. A lot of free software (including Windows Built in CD/DVD burner) only allow you to write data. This beast allows you to make audio CDs and both data and audio.
Perhaps the most nicesting this has to be the nero image to iso converter thing which I really like since I used to copy CDs to Hard disk using Nero before and used ImageDrive (which wasn't free). Now that I can convert them to ISO, the file format is more popular than Nero's so I favour that feature.

Re: cd burner
It's ok . It's just quite difficult to find a good free CD/DVD burner that
a) Works
b) Works without limitations
c) Works and has lots of useful little features

Correct
But it is not for the CD/DVD burner, anything free as like this.
