    Licensing Costs

You'd think this would be easy, but can't get a straight answer by Googling !
Can anyone tell me how much developer and runtime licenses are (even if approximate) for .NET ?

I appreciate there are probably discounts for bulk buying.

Apologies if I am posting this thread in the wrong forum.

    Thanks a lot.

    Steve.

Sup TBO! Long time no see in the OD forum.

There is a free version of VB.NET Express 2005. The framework is free and no licensing restrictions.

    Re: Licensing Costs

I went to MSDN, clicked on "Visual Studio", clicked on "How to Buy". Phew, I'm exhausted.

    Re: Licensing Costs

TBO are you talking about apps created with .NET or licensing for purchasing several copies of VS.NET itself?

    Re: Licensing Costs

i don't know much about VB, but i know about google... if you want to find things a lot easier on google... the put quotation marks around the main part... and then type the other stuff... like this
    Code:
    ".net licensing" cost

    or

    ".net" licensing
that should weed out most of the junk and bring up exactly what you're looking for... it's not always precise, but it works 90% of the time.
