    Cool

    I have tried various methods and API's to format a hard drive with no success. Could someone please let me know if this is possible and if so how would I do it.

    I need to format a hard drive, specify a volume label, quick format, and specify filesystem type as NTFS.

    Why not just shell Format.com?
