    Which should I choose VB6 or .net or 2005?

    Which should I choose VB6 or .net or 2005?
    I'm not a professional programmer,it's just my interesting

    I have use VB6 for 3 years.

    how should I do ? Using VB 6 continuously or learn vb.net or 2005?

    Start learning .NET - it's the present, and it's future

    Btw... 2005 is also a .NET - it also works on a .NET framework.

    As i already said, it's the "same". I think MS stoped naming it .NET cause it's well known now

    Yes, go for VB.NET 2005 as by the time you start to get into it deeply, Orcas (code name for the next VS .NET version) will be out and then you will only be one IDE/Version behind.
