    visual studio 6.0 enterprise of pro?

    which version do u use? should i switch to pro?

    Both are essentially the same unless you use the vast number of debugging tools that comes with the Enterprise edition. I would say professional is good enough for most people.

    It would depend on whose money we are spending.

    If your company is buying, get Enterprise.

    If you are buying, and money is tight, get Professional.

    Enterprize comes with many more utilities then pro. Too many to list but some are useful, at least to me.

    I have never used professional in my entire career. Even when I purchased a copy for home, I sprung for Enterprise, so I'm not sure about tools, but I don't believe VSS comes with anything but Enterprise (providing you would be interested in version control.)
