transparent buttons

hi there. i am trying to create buttons with transparent background on my pocket pc application.
I set the background color to transparent but the button (ButtonEx control) is not trasparent when the application runs.
Is there anything that i can check to find out what is wrong?

as far as im aware transparancy is not available directly in the compact framework.
that was the case with VS2003....

truly nice button collection.
But still i need to add trasparent button and i dont see one in the demo collection
