    TA-DA! I was getting jealous of Penagate, so I bought my own perpetually-under-construction domain name.

    I'm excited for it... I just have absolutely no use for it.

    Yeah. Paid for the domain and hosting. I went through brinkster.com, but I think I should've used godaddy.com because they are way cheaper.

    godaddy kicks arse... seriously. they have GREAT pricing.. and unbelievable service
    the wife uses them for her site. They even called to say, hosting contract is done.. you are on month to month but we'll discount you if you sign for another year.

    I paid too much. $44 for 3 months hosting and the domain name. I could've gotten 12 months at godaddy.com. I think I'll switch once my 3 months are over.

    Change your nickname to something less pronounceable, like mine, and your chances of acquiring your domain name of choice will increase marginally.
