best Certs for job Network Security and/or programming ?

hey guys as my college years are fast approaching and will more and likey be over in a flash im looking into getting a job in either network sec with programming on the side probally or get a starting job as a programmer then maybe move to net sec using the money i get to pay for courses ( as there was only a few colleges in my area that offered a net sec course and where they didnt offer it i took programming) but what you you guys suggest certificate wise that would be good to have for a job in the field of network security or programming. im going for my CCNA and was thinking of my CCSP (cisco certified security professonal) but if you guys know any other certs that would help then just let me know thanks

If you are think about the network security, and going to CCNA I think it is better to follow the CCNP as well. It is easy to become profession in network security when you a certified CCNA and CCNP. I think that CCSP mainly target on the escurity it self. On the CCNA and CCNP take both security as well as related network programming as well. And also, how about the Network+ if you want to get other than CCSP.

So, I think it is better to have

1.) CCNA with CCNP or
2.) CCNA with Network+
