    Exclamation Webserver Question

    i know this question must have been asked times over but pls i really need to know this.

    if i have PHP+MYSQL+APACHE running on my Win XP Pro machine,

    1. how can i make your machine(i mean your machine) see my webpage
    when you type in my IP Address?

    2. how can i make then address www.mysite.com return to my local
    webpage?

    basically i want to know how i can host a website on my local machine and have it seen on the internet.

    You want to make sure you have a good connection for this. ISPs tend to frown upon websites being hosted by their subscribers.

    It'd also help a lot if you got a static IP address.

    That's what dynamic DNS services are for.
