    resume from standby/hibernate

i know that it is possible to send the computer into hibernate or standby with visual basic but is there any way to make the computer "wake itself up" from standby or hibernate in visual basic. i know it is possible for a computer do this because in scheduled tasks you can ask the computer to wake itself up from standby or hiberate to perform the task. i am just not sure if you can do it in visual basic.
