    Wahoo !

We asked for a .net forum, now we got one!
Anyone else have trouble with the help files ?

I love the program, but some of the topics like inheritance are really complicated in the help & I guess it's writen with a developer who knows several languages in mind rather than just vb.

If your not a member join the UK Visual Basic User Group (Vbug) at www.vbug.co.uk They are also doing a series of articles on VS.Net with samples being posted on their website.

Also look at the sample chapter available for download from Wrox press on their VS.Net beta book, since the examples here are very clear and concise.

    Thumbs down MSDN Sucks

The help is lacking in content, particularly vb, but it's beta. I have found a dozen typographical errors in it so far. Also, does anyone else have a problem with vs.net crashing after perusing the help for a while?

I did, but then upgraded my memory & this stopped it - it's one hell of a resource hogger!!!

Windows & Office XP are pretty much done in the same way too, if you had a pc with these 3 on, I dread to think what PC spec you'd need for it not to crash ...
