Re: Download MSDN library
No, the MSDN library is not downloadable as only a small 10MB help documentation is available for the Express version.
Look at the Documentation section for Express Edition - http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/aa700921.aspx

Re: Download MSDN library
You are quite correct about that May 2006 version of MSDN. I have downloaded it myself but ti looks like they've removed the link for some reaosn. This looks to be the most recent version of the MSDN library available. It says that its for the DB version of Team System but it would include everything I would expect. It's a pretty enormous download. Having said that, the Express Edition downloads include the Express version of the MSDN library, which will contain the vast majority of what you need to use those editions.

Re: Download MSDN library
Since when have they made the full MSDN free and public? Anyways, looks like August of 2006 is the latest but I'm too lazy too search for the link.

There was a link to it and I know it worked because I downloaded it myself. If you navigate to that link it says that it's no longer available, indicating that at some point it was. Maybe they thought better of it or it was a mistake. Anyway, that link I posted provides a means to download a 2GB disc image, which would suggest that it's the whole kit and kaboodle. The link is public whether they intended it or not.

Re: Download MSDN library
I wouldnt doubt it that it may have been a mistake as they have so many pages on their site. Managing them all would be a feat in itsself
Ps, Well you can see the latest version now
