    execute under admin ?

hey all i'm working on a prorgram for my dad's company and i came across a little problem ... it will set to run when the computer starts up but its a call center so those who use the computers dont have admin rights and the program needs to write to the registry and considering all the admin passwords are different i suggested creating a seperate network account that has local admin and have the program run using those crednetials my questions are 1) cant it be done? if so how would it be done ? and second is there any other ways that you can suggest that would / could be easier?

You can run a program under a person's account while being in a different account. Just right click the program and select "Run As..." then select the account and password and your set.

Edit: Forgot to say it only works for XP and 2000
Edit version 2.0: To enable it if it isn't http://support.microsoft.com/kb/294676

hmm alright that's another senario but...will that work for network accounts? and that may get a bit annoying as we have about 300 computers

I'm really not sure if this will work for network accounts... I've never used the "Run As..." feature before as I just have one account here, so I really don't know any more about it.

Where do you plan to install your program? Will it be installed on the network for everybody or installed locally?

If you're having trouble with rights/restrictions, you can set the permission of your program's folder to Full Control. That is, if you installed it locally.
