deployment v installation ?
Firstly, I hope you all had a good festive period. Full on ale and food and are looking forward to a new year.
So, my question. Is there a difference between deployment and installation? I ask because when I deploy my app, it always gets 'installed' to c:\applications and settings\some long winded gobbledegook\myapp.exe. I want to install it to c:\program files\my app\myapp.exe Am I missing something in the application deployment set up?
TIA

What are you using to install it? Is it .NET or VB 6 or ???
