    Resolved [Resolved]Toshiba widescreen issues

    *edit* Turns out the laptop doesn't support widescreen.



    My brother recently got a new Acer AL1916W widescreen monitor for Christmas, and he is running a Toshiba Satellite A20. The problem is the video card (Trident CyberALADDIN-P4) doesn't seem to support widescreen resolutions.

    I have been to numerous sites to download drivers in attempt to fix the issue, but all have failed.

    I was wondering if anyone had experience with this sort of issue and could possibly recommend a fix?
