It reminds me of the skin-heads in London. They get fuelled up on booze (lager for the skin-heads), Anger at their own situation and strength in numbers. Then they see a catalyst (foreigner, gay, homeless you name it) and then go on the attack.

From what I know of them they tended to be fairly low intelligence, and easily swayed by simplistic ideals. One of these for the "Taking Britain back for the British" type of mobs was "you're unemployed because all these foreigners have stolen your jobs.". They didn't have the wit to see that they were unemployed because they had "All Pigs are ******" tattoed across their necks.

These people will always exist, and most of them are harmless on their own (not through cowardice, but because there is no one to show off to), but put them in a group and they suddenly become "big men" in front of their mates.

It's very sad.

Nah, I mean Russians full stop. I've found eastern Europeans to be a bit on the racist side, and this includes my Polish immigrant relatives. They don't even like Czechs...too "ethnic".

I've heard that exact same joke in Syria, except there are a monk, a priest and a rabbi. And they walk into a bar instead of a hospital.
