i have inserted a merge module named as crystal_regwiz2003.msm in my project now it is demanding a license key can u plz tell me which of the licene key is to be entered either the one that i written against the crytal report for dot net in the help section of vs 2003 or the one that is written in the help section of crystal report 8 itself

when i have inserted the one written in the cr 8.0 it till shows the error that the free licence kay connot be obtained

If I am not mistaken... the crystal report license you can get from VS IDE, under Help menu, click the about box, and select the "Crystal Reports for Visual Studio .NET ....", and you can see the registration number there. But since you are using the crsytal report 8, then should use it's key and merge module.

i dont know what the problem is now i tried to run the exe on my system so there was no need of set up project but still there i got the same error i am using that the licence key i different in c 8.0 and v .net about menu may thi might be the problem ca u tell me how to change the key in cr 8.0 a it i only giving the option to update the details but noe to change the license key

i have registered my cr 8.0 now i am in huge problem , as i add a new cr into my vb.net 2003 projct it says invalide code now say what should i do
