Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file ...... It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.


i keep getting this error when i tried to open access file. I have two drive, x and z.
x contain the file.asp now if i put the access file under x then it will run by just typing in the address and name of the file like 192.168.....file.asp

but if i put the access file under z drive and change the path it wont run and come back with message above. Does anyone knows how to solve this problem?

you have to try and check the settings/permissions in the folder where you placed your database. also, how exactly are you mapping to the database?
