Re: Robdog888 got a new system
Yup, its soooo fast even considering I'm running Vista with full animations etc.
I built it myself, took awhile to pry myself away from my other system (posting on VBF), but less then $1,000 as I already had the 3 LCDs.
Soon as I clean off my desk and open the system again, for an internal picture, I will post a picture or two of my desk/systems.

Re: Robdog888 got a new system
IE7 still sucks, Vista's probably too buggy(wouldn't know personally), and only 2Gb of RAM? What's wrong with you?
and a 74Gb hard drive? My laptop's got more than that...

Re: Robdog888 got a new system
The RAM is 667 MHz so to get a matched pair/kit of two 1 Gig sticks is a bit much seeing how I wanted to get it all together before the end of the year. Then dont forget x-mas is approaching too.
74 Gig Raptor HD is a high performance 10,000 RPM drive, not cheap either but I hope I will be getting 2 more to do a RAID 5 and a couple Gigs more RAM if Santa is listening
Ps, absolutely no issues at all yet and IE 7 rulez!

Re: Robdog888 got a new system
It really is allot of GUI, 3D effects, animations, and semi-transparencies but I think its worth it as its an actual functional Alt-Tab window switcher. You just click on the window to make it the active and front window.

I got a vista transformation pack for myself.
Anything like workspaces in vista or is it just one single desktop?
