Get HD serial number from evb3

Guys, I want to protect my evb3 program.

How do I get motherboard or HD or Windows Mobile 5 or whatever serial number with evb3? Something simple will do, the people who use my program are not hack savvy.

Hi,
depends on what machine you are targetting.

PPC 2002, a lot of devices do not expose a serial number.
PPC 2003, you can get from some devices, not from others
WM5 - doesn't fully support eVB, and I wouldn't advise using it on WM5

If you google the groups, you will see loads of questions on this, and very few authorative answers
