I would Like to ask you guys something. I wrote a game server in VB6. Now the server is done, however, i can't host on my PC, cuz i have a slow PC and my network is slow to host it. Now i want to find a hosting service wich let me to run an Exe app to host.
I try on google, but all i can find is webhosting.

Re: App Hosting
what do u mean? host so then peeps can download ur server? or host so then u can put it on their pc and it will run from there? cuz if ur talking about putting it onto a site and making it run from there, im sorry to say thats impossible. unless ofcourse you code a vbscript on html. but thats gonna be hard. anyways, putting it on a site wont do you any good, you need to have someone run the server from their computer to work..

yes you can rent a dedicted server to host the server app, but it will be expensive because 1 the computer it runs is is dedicated to only running your app server, and 2 its not common to rent a server just to stick a unknown type of server app on it, usually when someone requires this, they run and maintain their own server computer in house.
