    Re: MCSD For VB.NET

Microsoft has sample test questions on its site and also the topics covered in each test. Are you studying for 2003 or 2005? 2005 certificate paths are completely different from the 2003 certificate paths as MCSD is only available in 2003.

    Re: MCSD For VB.NET

Well if you go for the MCSD .NET then you are needing to study and take test for VS.NET 2003. If you are going to use VS.NET 2005 then you need to take test for the MCTS or MCPD.

For study guides and books and requirements for 2003 see here - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mc...entsdotnet.asp

    2005 MCTS - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/mcts/default.mspx

    2005 MCPD - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/mcpd/

Choose VB.NET if you are more fluent in it. Otherwise choose C#.

    Re: [RESOLVED] MCSD For VB.NET

I see them still asking for knowledge and experience for both. You may want to do a job search in your area to see what they are wanting by you.

Did you see that there are some Upgrade tests for 2003 certs to 2005?

MCSD.NET is 2003 tests only. MCPD and MCTS are 2005 only.
