    File Size[Advice Needed]

    hi guyz,

    i have a video file of about 100 MB and i want to send it to someone via email.
    considering the file size, how do i do it?

    Encode the video.Use Xvid or any similar codec.btw should have posted this in this general pc section.

    What is the file format of your video??

    You can download any freely available video converters .

    Regarding your second question:If its a mpeg1/2 video the size can drastically reduce depending upon the compression ratio.If its already compressed(avi/wmv/asf...)It wont change much.

    install skype and then you can send files back and forth ..

    or set up IIS if you have XP Pro .. set your PC up as a server .. then let them download direct from your PC.

    Or since this is a Programming forum .. check for some send and receive file code .. its out there ..
