    Unhappy

After waiting about two weeks, I finally got a reply from SuSE technical support, they told me that Kernel 2.4 does not support PPPoE(which is what my aDSL connection uses)...

My question is... how do I downgrade from Kernel 2.4?

Do I have to reinstall Linux?

    Thanks,
    Dennis

The Question is ...Whether their Precompiled Kernel
Does not support it or.....they mean to say....there is no way you could use PPPoE with the Newer Kernels ?

IMHO, We can add support to a Component/Hardware
to any Kernel(Providd there is no conflicts between
them) by Simply adding the Support modules when you
recompile The kernel form it's Source.

In Fact this is one of the Neatest feature in linux.

C++ kicks the **** out of both of them

BTW, SuSE Linux is awesome, but I just can't get it working with my internet connection If I changed versions, I would probably go with Red Hat, I've had some problems with Mandrake(wouldn't recognize my wheel mouse. That's the only mouse I have, so I couldn't install it), so I don't like it.
