    Resolved [RESOLVED] [2005] membership password answer

    is there a way to retrieve the decrypted anwser to the question for password recovery. I would like to be able to allow an administrator to reset the password but i want to keep the password format as hased

    You can not decrypt a hashed value.

    ok no problem i just set it that there isn't a need for question and answer and that the password can be reset. now my question is if i reset the password do it automatically send the new password to the user and if not is there a way to send it to the user since it's hashed?
