Any sort of geography besides the one made up in your profile would be helpful.
Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.
Take credit, not responsibility

Re: [serious] Dinner Before Homecoming...
A school tradition where alumnis come back to gloat at their schools. Nobody really cares about that, it's more about getting dressed up and going to the football match (or ice hockey if you're Canadian ) and going to the parade and going out with friends before it and going to the dance. And crowning a Homecoming Queen who was so, like, totally not expecting it.

Hahahaha, stereotypical Homecoming queen from a american teen movie
So, homecoming is like, a reunion? I always thought it was at the end of the school year for the final year people or whatever.

I think it depends on the town/school. If they like their town, they'll come back. Else they'd rather be dead.

Yes, back on topic or I will have to throw a dead fish at you.
Both my daughters just went to homecoming last week. There is just a football game (some schools will have a small parade too) and then a dance after with dinner. I'm sure glad that night is over

Re: [serious] Dinner Before Homecoming...
I never experienced homecoming. Because mom did not want to buy me a nice pink(junior) or blue(senior) dress.
I can only remember attending the catball (for the army) and I did not even ask permission for it.

Who actually goes to Homecoming games after graduation? I haven't laid eyes on my high school since graduation day 13 years ago.

No, I didn't. The profile does not ask where you're FROM, it asks where you're LOCATED. I live in England, but I come FROM the United States. American expats do exist, you know.

2nd Dance: Homecoming - Semi-Formal
3rd Dance: Winter Formal - Formal (No Freshmen )
4th Dance: MORP - Prom Backwards, Stag

Here is how my night is going down:
