M$ VS Extensibility Portal...
Shouldn't this be in the .Net section, or General section, or DevX (since it doesn't seem to have anything to do with VBF)
it seems a strange place to put it considering I can't imagine it being that busy <snip>Internet.com edited</snip>

Let's be careful how we word things. This is a rated PG site .
The extensibility forum is a bit of an experiment. You are right in that it might fit better in another location. We're evaluating that now.

Maybe it is the location that will make the difference.

You are right, its gone. The Admins are online right now so perhaps there is some reason that we should soon find out.
