[NOT RESOLVABLE?] Problem with VB6.EXE.manifest
Since i've set .manifest file to VB6.EXE, VB's IDE has some problems. Whenever i'm in a "palette" color view, i get this (see the attachment). Is this common?

You can still select the colors... you just can't see them. If you need to change the colors just rename the Manifest file then change the colors then rename it back. Of course you will have to restart VB in each case.

I'm well avare of all this... but it's really un-handy to close, rename, start, close, rename and start again... Just thought there's a solution to this... i guess not. Thanx anyway

Re: [NOT RESOLVABLE?] Problem with VB6.EXE.manifest
it's a known side-effect, but since the VB6 IDE was never intended to be used with a manifest file it's quite lucky that it's the only one...

Use a small screenshot of the IDE without the manifest file to use as a reference of where the colors are located.

Np,
It is the only solution though unless you consider switching to VB.NET

Use Edit -> Color Palette and double click a colour to apply it.

Re: [NOT RESOLVABLE?] Problem with VB6.EXE.manifest
Its actually ...
Select the control or color property in the property window > View > Color Palette > single click a color.
But good tip PG.

Hi Luca and welcome to the forum
I've removed your attachment becasue we don't allow compiled binaries (except in the utilities section and then only if accompanied by source code). If you want to repost it then please zip up the source rather than the binaries.
Thanks
