    Anyone know of any Active ASM forums?

    Helllo everyone!
    I know this site is great for higher level lang help but i was wondering if they knew of any more active Assembly forums they could post. Thanks in advance!

    The MASM forums are really good. I haven't replied to any of your threads because you don't use an intstruction set I'm used to, therefore, cannot answer :/

    Yeah this ISA is not used for x86, its more of a basic RISC ISA, this is my first programming class with asm, hopefully my other ones will use a more well known ISA. THanks anyways!

    Whats main difference between MASM and MIPS? Just the instruction set or is it also memory related? like big indian vs. little indian i know its not spell like "indian" but thats how i've heard it pronounced.

    MASM is Microsoft Macro Assembler which is for x86 Intel computers - basically your home Intel/AMD desktop PC.

    MIPS appears to be the processor type used in game consoles?

    I didn't realize mips was mainly used for game consoles but thats what it says, makes me like it alittle bit more hah.

    I personally prefer computers to gam e consoles, don't own a gam e console myself.
