Resolved [RESOLVED] Thanks for all your help

As some of you may already know, I started getting into contracting. Which in turn is becoming many long hours and late nights. I appreciate all the help I've received from this site and wish you all the best in your present and future endevours. Many people have and will continue to benefit from the time you so graciously volunteer.

Thanks. I wouldn't be where I am today without unrelenting assistance I've received from VBF.

Edit: I should also mention that I have a very strict non-disclosure agreement. That's my main reason why I am unable to assist anymore. The contract I'm on is 2+ years (hardly worth calling a contract) and strictly banking software (Online Banking and Internal Accounting). If I assist, whether the code I share pertains to what I'm doing or not; I could very easily lose my job.

I guess they're BANKing upon your skills for this project. If during the course of your work, your secretary informs you that a VBFers is there to meet you, you TELLER to send them away. COIN sly, that's what you have to be to get your work done.

    LEDGER, dude.

CHEQUE your desk before you leave, and finish all your work. Leave nothing off BALANCE.

A terrible excuse. We all know that you haven't posted any useful code in months.

Besides, there are plenty of people who seem to hang around here just for the chit chat.
    I use VB 6, VB.Net 2003 and Office 2010

    Code:
Excel Graphing | Excel Timer | Excel Tips and Tricks | Add controls in Office | Data tables in Excel | Gaussian random number distribution (VB6/VBA,VB.Net) | Coordinates, Vectors and 3D volumes

Re: [RESOLVED] Thanks for all your help

Sux dude!! u will be missed.. (at least a little.. lol )

I used to work for a bank.. largest bank in the world if that helps to say which one. I also signed the disclosure contract... helping someone with code is NOT a breech of that.. if you start giving account numbers and other sensitive information.. yeah , you're screwed. but posting the correct method of a for next loop won hurt...

c'mon.. just do it... I dare you. (I used to ALLL the time)

it can be viewed as a programming resource. without this site there would be many unfinished projects over at ----bank

how else to keep in touch? got a 360? gamertag?? something? PM me

Ask your manager to confirm this. It is likely that the non-disclosure agreement is regarding anything to do with said bank so helping someone else on their coding troubles is fine. If you ASK for help just ensure that there is no code that could be used by malicious developers....i.e. keep it unspecific
