    Angry

vbenigma started this same thread, i know.

mouse wheel does not work in code window.
vertical scroll works, but is way frustrating when coding.

heard there is a registry setting fix,
    DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW !!!!!!!!!!
    or
    of another fix?

its not a driver problem, etc.

    if you KNOW, please respond.
    THANKS in advance
    And when the day arrives,
    I will become the sky
and I will become the sea.

And the sea will come to kiss me
    For I am going home.

    Nothing can stop me know.

mine works fine but it might be that i am using the MS Trackball Explorer... I have noticed that many people who report this bug are using a logitech mouse. I also heard if you do not install the driver that it works in the code window. I have no solution just those few hopfully helpful hints

    Regards

my mouse is a I.B.M. mouse but all of the inards are logitech, i knew that the scroll didn't work in the code window, but i was unaware of a fix for this

Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

I also have a logitech mouse, but even without the drivers it still won't work in the bloody code window!

Perhaps M$ doesn't like logitech's mice? They'd much rather sell their own junk.

I don't think this is possible, it is frustrating, and I've tried it with loads of different mice & drivers.

I have heard that some of the MS mice (like above) work, but not too sure which, might only be the trackerball one as my intellisense doesn't ...

i have no idea why but mine just works it might be that i am running WinME though because it takes care of the scroll wheel itself.

    Could well be, OS's I've used :

    WinNt 4 (sp4, 5 & 6)
    Win 95, 98
    Win2000

and this doesn't work, so it could well be down to winME. ..

Eric, check your private messages in a little while.

So we were right origianally, the rollerball MS mouse must be the only one to work with this [boo].
