I have no idea what so ever of what to do
I have visual Basic 5.0 enterprise and I want to learn to program games. I dont know where to start. Can someone help me? My ICQ# is 45632921

No offense meant man, but if you are a newcomer to programming you have a pretty long road ahead of you. You definitely shouldn't jump right into programming games or you will be lost before you type the first line of code. Start by learning the basics of programming (what a variable is, control structures, arrays), get a good book and do all the cheesy examples and just keep fooling around with it until you feel comfortable enough to start with game programming. These are just my opinions so take them however you like.

YoungBuck's right, you need to learn the basics. Games programming is one of the harder kinds of programming, so you need a solid foundation before you wander in and get lost.

Although he/she's good to post HERE, because in the General section all of the "newbie" posts arent replied to, at least WE will pay attention to him (or her). I dont mean offense by saying he first, but, truth to tell, most people that come here (in my times) are men....

Myself, i only look at the questions with 0 replies, and answer the ones i can. Unless, of course, the subject matter is distastful (hacking, and the like).
