    "Every Hard drive has a unique IP address. An IP address is used by the internet so the governmnet can keep track of you. That way if someone is doing something illegal, such as hacking, the government or police can identify this person by their IP address, simmilar to a cars liscence plate."

    That site just proves the old adage that a little bit of knowledge is dangerous. She (or NoteMe) has some terms sort of right, and most terms mostly wrong, but they ARE real terms. Therefore, this just serves to cloud the water.

    Nope... I'm getting my happy little self out of the Army... it was the worst decision of my life.

    And anyway, my unit wasn't scheduled to go to Iraq anyway... but we were gonna be ready to deploy within a week to wherever conflict arose... probably Korea...

    Always remember to reformat the hard drive to remove your IP address before you chunk it in the trash.

    hi HelloI try to replaCe my FDD disck drive with an HDD disk drive and the plug wouldnt? there are a big flat thng with "iDE Ribon Cable" printed on it was in the way so i cut it off now my computre is no work at all it just goes black and bleeping all the. time.
    i put my "intergral" HDD in the same slot as the ribon cable was in and i had to use a knife the beeping has stop now thouh. What i'm doing wrong pls>
