Want to add a meesage before shut down PC
Dear Friends,
I Want to add a meesage (For example, "Good Bye") before shut down of PC.
That means that when I shut down my PC, it will give a message and then if I accept that then the PC will be shut down. Is it possible?
Help me ASAP.

you can create a program that will continuously run in background,
and when system will shut down, you can give msg on form_unload event.

If you just want to show a quick message as such, you can just create a shortcut to the shutdown.exe. This allows you to shutdown windows and accepts an optional parameter for adding a comment message to the process. See http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d....mspx?mfr=true

It depends on your logon method. If you use domain authentication (Ctrl+Alt+Del to log in) you can configure a message to be shown via Group Policy. If you use the Welcome screen you will need to edit your Windows theme resource file and place a subtle (or not so subtle) message in the Shutdown dialog box background image.
