Re: Obesity....
BMI are for those who does not have muscles, they are not very reliable for those who work out since muscle is heavier than fats.

I got 47 on that scale....of course, that's partly because I don't know how to convert pounds to stones, so I just used the maximum. Is that correct?

Take a look at this chart. I don't want you to give up on exercising but you probably only burned about 200 calories at that will not result in anything like the loss of a pound.

27 or 28....I forgot in the time it took to scroll down here. The site says I'm in the overweight range. I agree, but I don't particularly care. I guess that makes me lazy and apathetic.

Re: Obesity....
26.55... I've been planning to lose weight for a while now... Even if I lost about 10kg (which would put me at 92kg, a weight lower than I've been since I first had my growth spurt (I'm ~195cm or 6'4 for those interested)), I'd still be in the top end of the healthy part of the scale... Given that, though I intend to lose about 5-6kg through a little exercise, I have no intention of trying to hit an "ideal" BMI... I guess I've just got lots of muscle

Re: Obesity....
The BMI is only a guideline, so 1 point above is irrelevant, especially for people our height. Fat percentage is probably more useful for our height as it takes muscle into consideration. I'm currently at 12%

Good information. But when we start talking about fat percentages, I immediately think back to the one time I played San Andreas and ate until I had maximum weight... It wasn't that good really, but I wanted to try it. I'm sure I'll lose weight when I finish this job, because I'll have an addition 10 hrs or so to play with for a little while, so I can do all the exercise/streches I've been wanting to do for about 2 months...

Good catch.
By the way, I just hiked 400 miles, how many calories did that burn? I only lost about 20 lbs, and a fair amount of that was muscle.
