    Free ASP.Net Hosting?

Can anyone suggest a good server offering free asp.net / SQL Server 2000 hosting?

I tried www.aspspider.net but they have closed their free account for a while. Google search didnt come up with good results

They provide virtual servers! You can only link your existing to site them! Not even an online control panel for page uploading!

What I mean to say is they don't provide you a free domain name like http://www.freewebdot.com/yourname

They only provide free space...without domain.

Just $8 to $12 a year. That's peanuts, even for starving Ethiopian children (who are grateful for peanuts either way).

not that I think they are all that great, but if you just want to do most basic asp.net web application/web services, the big hosts like godaddy aren't bad.

I use them for a couple client sites where the customer didn't want to pay too much for hosting. the domain name is only like 2 bucks with a hosting package (if they still have that deal going on)

I personally use discountasp. While it costs 90 bucks a year, and extra for SQL Server, they give you a butt load of control over your site.

they arent great - the BEST one in my experience is axwebhost.com
cheap webhosting (4 bucks a month - cancel the subscription any time, paid on a per month basis) which includes SQL Server 2000, ASP.NET 1.1 and 2.0, good bandwidth and space, can host your own webservices, unlimited email accounts on your domain and technical support is very good, response time within 1-4 hours.

I've always used them and hosted my clients' websites on them, havent let me down!

MVP 2007-2010 any chance of a regain?
