using generic/text driver in printing reports
i am currently using a generic/text driver in printing reports to be able to produce reports as fast as possible. but i have noticed that some of the fields with numeric values does not fall in line. please help me with my concerns. thank you.

Welcome to the forums.
Are you using a specific report generator?
What language is your app written in?

thank you hack. i am using a data report of visual basic 6.

Almie,
I think data report is a pain...
I suggest you use Crystal Reports (there´s version 4.6 blunded with vb6.), it's a little hidden, but you can find it on instalation CD...

hi luiz, thank you for that outrageous reply. i am really sorry but i don't think using Crystal Reports answers my concern. i more concerned with the output, i want it fast and accurate. actually i do not have problems using data report of visual basic 6, i am looking for some possible ways that my reports be printed as fast as possible. do i have other options not using generic/text printer driver but i can still have a fast outputs?
