Strange behaviour - not programming related:
Hi folks, I just made an observation I thought I'd share with you for future reference:
[1] Created folder on desktop and called it C#_Videos.
[2] Downloaded tutorial videos from here
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/ex...harp/learning/
[3] Copied a number of C# e-books in *.chm format to same folder from elsewhere on my PC.
[4] Tried to view table of contents / read e-books, but couldn't - getting a "The page cannot be displayed" error in the right hand pane of the e-book.
[5] Rebooted machine - problem persists.
[6] After some head scratching and double checking discovered that the cause of the problem was in my use of # in the folder name - for some reason this causes a problem with the e-books. Renamed the folder to CSharp_Videos - everything OK.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Re: Strange behaviour - not programming related:
yes, it will also happen if you write # in the filename of the .chm file.
BTW, such questions should go under General - General PC section.

Dont feel bad about it. This is a common thing at VBF. . Though you should avoid it.
Just take a quick search at all the sections of the VBF (or any Forum other than VBF) and you would know easily where does your question fit in.
In such case, send a PM to the Moderators of the forum to move the thread to its appropriate section.

Every passing hour brings the Solar System forty-three thousand miles closer to Globular Cluster M13 in Hercules -- and still there are some misfits who insist that there is no such thing as progress.
