    update an exe

    i m having one project. i have installed it on my customer machine.
    i m having access as backend.
    now i want to change access file, i want to update fields in that database , can i update it through internet ? without going on that machine ?

    One option would be to upload your "updater" and get your customer to d/l it then run it to get the new fields in their database.

    "to d/l it " what do you mean by this ?
    And how i will do it ?

    and one more thing is that i have to update filelds only customer's database, i cannot delete their database,bcoz they already have data about from 1 to 2 years back.

    d/l = download

    Once you have made your "updater" upload it to your website then tell your customer the link to the "updater" and ask them to d/l( ) it. Once they have downloaded it instruct them to open the "updater" to update their database. HTH
