Crystal Report in vb

hi,

i have two tables namely expenses , hours table.

expenses table contains
Mcname expcat des Qnty Amount DAHDate
-------- ------ ---- ---- ------ ------
EX-1 tranport petrol 2 300 8/21/2006

Ex-2 Machine diesel 9 400 8/21/2006

Ex-2 betaexp salary 200 8/22/2006



Hours table contains

DAHMcNam DAHDate DAHtotalhrs
-------- -------- ----------
Ex-2 8/21/2006 10
EX-1 8/21/2006 20
EX-1 8/22/2006 5



i am fetching the records based on machine name and between two dates
In page header , i have calculate the sum of total hours between two dates
and then In detail section i have display the expenses details
for ex:
from the date 08/20/2006 to 08/25/2006 ,
(SEAGATE CRYSTAL REPORT)
Page header
------------
MachineName :Ex-1
TotalHour :25

Detail section
-------------
expcat des Qnty Amount DAHDate
------ ---- ---- ------ ------
tranport petrol 2 300 8/21/2006

here for machine EX-1 ,expenses occurs for one time only but in the report field its repeating......

How can i overcome tis problem????

priyavijay,

take a look at Visual Linking Expert at Database menu, sometimes Crystal makes an inverted link (i.e. a->b instead a<-b)... It may cause this kind of problem....
