    Red face GZip decompression/compression fails...

    Hi,

    I have an application which tries to decompress a gzip compressed file while loading. It works fine on all NT operating systems, but not on XP with an AMD 64 bit processor. It throws a memory reference error after a long time.

    What could be the problem and what is the solution for this.

    The download gzip file is a Win32 executable. Is there an issue with this?

    try 7zip http://www.7-zip.org/ .See if its able to decompress it succesfully
