Re: Jamaica here I come.
ahh but thats only in certain areas...
If your hotel is "gated" (fenced in) DO NOT LEAVE IT AT NIGHT. EVER.. trust me
you can be in a nice area, go 2 blocks, and be in the worst area... just be careful. use taxis to get to places, do not walk.
JPnyc rocks!! (Just ask him!)

Let us know if you see the corpse of that blonde chick who disappeared last year floating in the water.
Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.

What's so funny about that? Jamaica and many of the surrounding islands have been having a lot of trouble with rival gangs and tourists being killed. I would not consider that very funny, would you?

I don't fancy going on holiday and being restricted to the confines of the hotel fences.

Also, one of the delicacies down there is barracuda. Only eat small ones. If you eat a big one, you will die a horrible death as the ciguerra toxin paralyzes your chest.
How big is too big? Well, if you die....then that one was too big.
They actually lose a few people a year that way. The fish is supposed to be quite tasty, but you are throwing the dice if they get up in size.
