Mobile 2005 Database CHAOS !!!
Hi there. Can anyone please give me some advice on databases and windows mobile 2005. I need to store a couple of fields of information on a PDA. When the user returns to there office they need to sync the stored data to a local database on there desktop. How can I do this ? There is no simple solution like MS access on the PDA as there is no support. The only option looks like SQL Server Mobile 2005, but this brings licencsing problems into the equation. Is there a way of syncing SQL mobile data straight into an MS access database on the desktop, or MYSQL even ???
Please help

Hi,
fraid not - you would have to write your own.
We have a product, SqlLinkCE that will allow you to access and update any ODBC databases from your PPC
SqlEverywhere is currently in CTP and will be available shortly, allowing you to run the same database on your desktop as your PPC - more details here
