I have a table in frontpage and that last cell of table i want to sit on the status bar of internet explorer. Is there anyway to do this?

    Regards

    Re: Tables

Do you mean you want it to "float" and remain where it is positioned when page content is scrolled? Or if you really mean what you say (placing something on status bar), for security reasons a page is limited to accessing only the content area that is reserved for it. Also, what if someone used something else than IE?

You could just modify the text in the status bar.

    Re: Tables

Status bar modifying is disabled by default in Firefox and there is no status bar in Opera (atleast I can't remember seeing one, too lazy to fire it up). So that wouldn't really work.

Opera is probably the best standalone browser out there. What's to snicker at?
