Dear Friends,
I am afriad you can't endure my stupid question but I really hope to ask for your suggestion. I have some bitmaps or jpeg images but I hope to display them as the icons (at left top corner) of the forms of my app.
How to convert them to icon files?
Also do u know some icon resources on the Web for developers to use because I found the graphics in the common folder come along with my VB 6 Professional are really not enough?
Thank you very much.

How 2 create icons
Open your image files in Microsoft Windows Paint.
Then chose to save them as 24bit BMP files. And then stic .ico at the end of the file name, so it looks like this:
MyIcon.ico

Hi
there should be a program on your vb cd called "IMAGEDIT.EXE", this is free and allows you to create your own icons, it is very siimple but effective none the less, if you haven't got it i can email it to you if you like
Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.
