[RESOLVED] Silent Hill Fan Game (C++ programmers needed)
Hi,
A group of Silent Hill fans and I are working on a Silent Hill fan game. We need someone (someones) who knows C++ to help with the code for fighting, running around, using items etc.
Game sub-forum:
http://www.circleofdestruction.net/v...php?board=10.0
If you're interested please email me or pm Valtiel (on the above forum) for more info.
Edit:
You will be credited when the project is complete.
Thank you,
Nightwalker

Sorry, for the late reply I'm not sure if it is or not but since the game is going to be free I'm guessing it might be.

How's it going? Just curious; I don't have time to help otherwise I would.

Not very well! Amy (Valtiel, on the forum) has run in to personal difficulties and isn't able to work on the fan game at the moment. She has been look for some to takeover the project without much success.

It is a horror action/adventure game! For more information check the links in the first post. I am not sure if anybody is still working on the project though.

I don't know! I still haven't played Silent Hill: Homecoming (Created in the US rather than Japan) so I wouldn't know who has created the better game. Although from videos I have seen of Silent Hill: Homecoming it seems like the Japanese have.

I don't know weather the following saying is true. It is said that the best software is made in US , so after is India. You see there are so many desktop using the Microsoft Windows OS, and the biggest hardware company also is in US ,such as IBM Apple Intel and AMD and so on. Although Linux as a new
OS have been a popurlar OS all over the world, but it support by FSF, the FSF also is an American organization .
And in China, although the software technique is in the fast developping, but there still don't have ourself OS and ourself pragramming language like the C or C++.
But I believe what we Chinese don't have today, we will hold it someday.

Re: Silent Hill Fan Game (C++ programmers needed)
I'd like to join in on the offtopic-ness...I've played Silent Hill: Homecoming, but never any of the earlier Silent Hill games.
I didnt find it that good, nor that bad. My rating would be: meh.
