Quick Basic 7.1/ pds71.zip
Got problem with loading Quick Basic 7.1 on windows 2000.
Using setup.exe the problem is the computer says that the directory setup is not a FIXED drive "c:\pds\".

I'm not familiar with pds71, but I'm guessing that it's so old that it doesn't understand virtual hardware - which is what hardware is in NT.
The most difficult part of developing a program is understanding the problem.
The second most difficult part is deciding how you're going to solve the problem.
Actually writing the program (translating your solution into some computer language) is the easiest part.
Please indent your code and use [HIGHLIGHT="VB"] [/HIGHLIGHT] tags around it to make it easier to read.

The number of problems using QB and PDS originally spawned the creation of FreeBasic www.freebasic.net, however it has grown from simply bringing QB/PDS to native Windows to something completely of it's own. The syntax is much of the same however you will still have to "port" QB/PDS software to it.

huh? I didn't know until now that there is Quick Basic 7.xxx
After Quick Basic 4.5, when i requested for an upgrad, I was given VB-DOS (VB1). Thanks for that info.
