How to map a texture onto a round surface?
Hi,
I have read and learnt about texture mapping in OpenGL. The examples I have encountered so far are applied to square faces like cubes or triangle strips. The glTexCoord2f or glTexCoord3f function is used together with glVertex2 or 3f.
On round surfaces like cylinders or circles or spheres, how is texture mapping done?
