Dark_Shadow - BF2 for PC is Excelent. I did not like the 360 version at all...

I didnt like Hitman... it was ok, just wasnt impressed..
and I tried the Prey demo and got bored quickly. seemed like another HL2...

and Yes forgot about MotoGP ... VERY VERY Good Racer.

Will be able to save games without buying a mem stick? I will add on the HD later when money permits, but don't want to get a mem card now if i don't really have to

no.. buy the premium set.. do NOT get the core..

the core doesnt even have wireless controller
spend the extra $100 now instead of $200 later for HD & Wireless

if you dont get the HD you will need a mem stick.. without it you get no saving ability.. there is no built in memory. not only that.. no XBOX Live.. and you want that. event the free service allows you to download demos for free....

and buying a mem card already puts you closer to the Premium system $... please trust me. fork out the extra $ now... scrape it up.. dont get the core

The new Ghost Recon for the X360 looks like good from what I've seen of it, translucent video-in-video, ProximityVoice.

I've only got a crappy 14" tv to play my old XBox on so there's no point upgrading for me right now.

Ghost Recon is excelent. Even the demo they release for it really showed it off nicely

Not to start a console war, but I have seen nothing that would make me want a PS3. Wii sounds great, but Sony can't seem to figure out what they want to do with the PS3. Not to mention all the bad press it is getting.

Look harder. PS3 is getting trashed all over. Developers complaining about complexity and cost to develop. Consumers complaining about cost of console and the reported higher costs of game. People complaining that Sony is spending so much time spinning the importance of Blu-Ray and trying to make us believe PS3 is a computer that there is no focus on the gaming. Supposed pipeline and speed issues. Supposed supply issues with Blu-Ray diodes and the Cell chip. The motion sensing control fiasco at E3, not to mention the entire E3 PS3 showing was subpar as reported my most game media outlets.

This news has been all over, how could you miss it?

ya i've read some pretty bad things about the ps3 the wii has the gayest name and i think the controlers are kinda weird ... sure its full degrees of motion but its one handed :S i've had using both hands save me a few time while playing some online games but that's just me

I think the Wii controller is an interesting concept. I would have to try it first before making a final decision on it. As far as the name, I have seen it so much now that it doesn't bother me anymore.

Rudi.. its everywhere...
including stuff like:

the PS3 graphics are no better then 360
the memory issues in the PS3 (Bandwidths are horrible)
the system itself is ENORMOUS! (Larger than the orig xbox)
They stole the Wii idea of motion sensing controler (WHich actually was microsofts idea back in 99 and it was a big failure)
They are ripping off the Live service
there is no improvement of the cocntrollers (its the same dualshock but with motion sensing and no vibration)
the PRICE...The PRICE.. the PRICE
they BLEW there E3 showing.. no one was impressed.
Devs think it terrible to program on...

i could go on and on...
look around.. people are not impressed with it..
but VERY impressed with the Wii

And to be clear, I would rather PS3 fix the issues and run neck and neck to keep competition up. So I am not praying for the death of the PS. It is just that Sony has been digging a very deep hole.

Yeah. Personally, I love my ps2. I would get a ps3 but there have been waaaay too many problems with it. It looks like it's going to be a wii for me. (hehe that rhymed) It may not have the hi-def graphics but the games look fun. Just plain fun. Tennis anyone?

I am now a proud XBox 360 owner.

Going to try and hook it up to my iBook tonight with a crossover cable to see if I can connect to Live without spending 100$ on a wireless network adapter. I want to buy Geometry Wars.
