    Help on Final Step: Compile, Distribute, Release

    Hello,

    Getting near towards finished a product I've been working on.

    1st time doing it and i need some help on final Comipiling, any extra stuff i need to know or do.

    Installtion packages...

    What to include, such as .dll's ocx's etc....

    if you use the built-in PDW then it should pick up and automatically "pack" the dependencies for you. through my own use, i have found it to be unreliable. i personally use ********** and InnoSetup. you might want to look into these. ********** is not free but InnoSetup, if i recall, is.

    Depending on what your program uses you may have to manually add a few dependancy files/controls. The P&D Wiz is fine unless you want to get fancy with your install.

    Check the FAQ in Application Deployment for some Installation Packages that are available.
